These days, you’ll notice that red-carpet pros aren’t always opting for dresses to premieres. Many of the most stylist celebs are choosing demure tuxedo jackets with sexy, sleek fitting pants and bomb jewelry. Today’s MM has adopted the same philosophy. Just add a plain tank underneath the jacket and you’re ready to go!

GOT THE BLUES
It’s natural to gravitate toward black when choosing a dressier pant. It’s classic, matches everything, and of course notorious for it’s slimming capabilities. BUT—there’s another hue from the color spectrum that should be considered…we’ll give you a clue (heh)…it’s blue!
And we love blue in the form of these Sally Tseng Beuller Trousers ($208) as shown on today’s MM. They look equally upscale and the color also has a talent for being flattering.

Beyond boarding airplanes and lounging at home, tracksuits are yesterday’s solution to comfortable fashion, and now a passé trend. That doesn’t mean we don’t still yearn for comfortable outfits that give us free-range in movement!
Today’s MM shows that it’s possible to look polished yet feel completely relaxed. Pair this Quail Reversible Skirt($206—yay for two-in-one skirts) with a soft, shapely K.Allyn V-Neck Tee ($65) and pull it together with a cropped jacket like Crispin & Basilio’s Relaxed Crop Trench ($445). Add a sparkly necklace for a pretty touch.
A recent arrival to LIVE! On Sunset’s racks, the Recollection Bustier ($200) is most certainly a head-turning number. MM wears the cropped corset with a high waisted skirt from Aaron Ashe ($275) and the Malin Heel by Report Signature ($185).
Other ways to wear the sexy cut might be with a blazer or sweater and slacks, or even over a chiffon blouse if you’re a little modest.

Our MM paired the glitzy top from Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent with plain black pencil leg jeans by J Brand (see links below to shop). You could also wear it over a casual tank dress or with tailored pants. Whatever you choose, keep it basic and you’ll no doubt Razzle Dazzle ’em!
